Our mission isn't just to support our club members, but the community at large...

One of the major goals of the AWCD is to provide charitable support for various groups in the Düsseldorf area. Our primary focus is on facilities which aid women and children.

The American Women's Club in Düsseldorf works together with and towards benefiting several charities and organizations. To give you an idea of the causes we support and where we donate funds raised through various events and sales, we have compiled a list with a short description of each organization. If you wish to have more information or a contact person/telephone number at an individual organization, please contact our community liaison.

Additionally, our members are encouraged to become active partners in the community by giving their time to those in need. Past events include:

• International Community Blood Drive
• Christmas Shoebox Collection for U.S. Troops abroad
• Clothing Drives
